Liyema Consulting Group Land BMW Contract

It’s with great pride that we announce our recent partnership with BMW. Over the next few months, we will embark on a staffing solutions project to recruit for the luxury vehicle company’s IT Hub, in South Africa.

An information nerve-centre that provides global tech consultations for over 50 countries is going to need a multi-service consulting firm with worldly experience. Liyema Consulting Group is the answer. With over 10 years’ experience, and clients spanning the globe (specifically across Africa, Europe and UAE), we have insight into the concerns and pressure points within the field of Talent Acquisition. As an innovative BPO, which prides itself on utilising tech to service human capital solutions, partnering with BMW on this account is a wonderful achievement.

“The BMW IT Hub is extending us to think more innovatively and in a more agile way when it comes to business outsourcing and resource process outsourcing,” our MD, Ayanda Mzondeki, shares. This contract has provided us with the opportunity to improve on our internal technologies so that we can better serve our clients.

Last week, we spent a few days at the BMW IT HUB in Menlyn and the BMW plant in Rosslyn. Through this, we gained first-hand knowledge of the possibilities when recruiting consultants with a passion and competence for SAP, Java and Cloud Development and Operations, amongst other things. Khontinkosi Mabusela, our Human Capital Admin and Researcher, shares that she is interested in leaning on her contacts within the SAP space to get this recruitment project over the line.
The chosen consultants will join the 1. 800+ Hubsters who are already part of this fast-growing unit.

BMW’s local hub is committed to improving living conditions and educational opportunities, in South Africa, as well as promoting intercultural understanding. These values align with Liyema Consulting Group’s continued work towards empowering woman, youths, and people living with disabilities.

Our business is people and our solutions are people-centred. This informs the way we approach everything from Interim Staff Management and Executive Search to Payroll Outsourcing and Mobility Consulting. BMW maintains that “(they) own, drive and deliver valuable solutions in the spirit of UBUNTU,” through their work. Partnering with another Fortune 500 company not only exposes us to markets we can grow into, in future, but the reach of our work – nurturing the next generation of innovators – is invaluable. It has been a privilege to work with the likes of Accenture, Cummins, Deloitte and EY; and collaborating with BMW is going be equally as rewarding.

As a TES partner, Liyema Consulting Group can assure all prospective consultants that we will prioritise the well-being of employees, through ensuring the work environment is wholistically conducive to productivity. Our comprehensive services offering takes the growth of both consultant and client into consideration. We believe that this is the best way to reduce their administrative burdens.

“Hopefully, there will be a lot of information sharing, and learning, from BMW,” Ayanda explains as the team gears up towards working with both BMW and job seekers on this project. For more information, and to get in touch, contact us here.
